Windshield washer tablets suppliers manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize dissolution rate, ensuring the tablet dissolves completely in water within 2 to 5 minutes without leaving residue that could clog spray nozzles. The pH level should be neutral (around 7.0 to 8.5) to prevent corrosion of the vehicle's paint, rubber seals, and wiper blades. Additionally, verify the cleaning efficacy against organic matter like bird droppings, tree sap, and oil film.

Standard tablets are typically designed for summer or temperate use. For cold climates, you must confirm if the supplier offers anti-freeze versions or if the tablets are compatible with ethanol/methanol additives. Most standard tablets will freeze at 0°C (32°F), so clear labeling regarding temperature limitations is essential for consumer safety and product integrity.

As a chemical product, you must request a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a UN38.3 or relevant transport certificate for non-hazardous goods. Ensure the ingredients comply with REACH (EU) or TSCA (USA) regulations. Look for suppliers with ISO 9001 certification to ensure batch-to-batch consistency in chemical concentration.

To prevent moisture absorption and premature degradation, tablets should be individually wrapped in moisture-proof foil or stored in airtight tubes. For private labeling (OEM), ensure the packaging materials are UV-resistant to prevent the fading of dyes. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) or specialized blister packs are recommended for long-term shelf life (typically 2-3 years).

Always request a pre-shipment sample and conduct a 'residue test' by dissolving the tablet in a clear glass of water. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to hold payment until a third-party inspection (like SGS or Intertek) confirms the chemical composition and solubility match the agreed specifications.

Since washer tablets are compact and high-density, they are ideal for LCL (Less than Container Load) sea freight. Compared to liquid washer fluid, tablets reduce shipping costs by up to 90% due to the elimination of water weight. Ensure the H.S. Code is correctly classified (usually under 3402.90) to avoid customs delays or incorrect duty applications.

For initial market testing, look for suppliers on Made-in-China.com that offer low MOQs (e.g., 500-1,000 units). When scaling, negotiate based on annual volume rather than single orders to secure a 15-20% price reduction. If requesting custom scents or colors, ensure the supplier provides a stability report to prove the additives don't affect cleaning performance.

Verify the supplier's Audit Reports on their profile to check their factory scale and export history. Always use formal Proforma Invoices (PI) that clearly state the active ingredient percentage and dissolution time. Avoid direct wire transfers to personal accounts; instead, use the platform's integrated payment systems to ensure traceability and dispute resolution.
