Wholesale neck paper manufacturers

When sourcing neck paper, prioritize 100% pure wood pulp or high-grade cellulose fibers. The paper must feature high elasticity (stretchability) to fit various neck sizes comfortably and strong absorbency to effectively capture sweat, hair, and chemicals. Ensure the adhesive strip uses medical-grade glue that is skin-friendly and leaves no residue.

As a product in direct contact with skin, neck paper should ideally meet ISO 9001 for quality management and SGS or Intertek testing for skin irritation. For the US market, ensure materials are FDA-compliant regarding non-toxicity, and for the EU, check for REACH regulation compliance to ensure no harmful chemicals are present in the dyes or adhesives.

Perform a tensile strength test to ensure the paper does not tear when stretched around a neck. Conduct a waterproof/absorbency test; the paper should absorb moisture on the inner side while preventing liquids from seeping through to the cape. Lastly, verify the adhesive stability by sticking and unsticking the blue/green strips multiple times to ensure they hold firm during a haircut.

Standard wholesale packaging usually involves 5 rolls per shrink-wrap and 100 rolls per master carton. For branding, look for suppliers offering OEM services such as custom-printed outer boxes or private label inner cores. Ensure the rolls are compatible with standard neck paper dispensers (usually 6.5cm to 7cm in diameter).

Request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) or use a third-party service to check the GSM (grams per square meter) and elasticity. Brittle paper often results from using recycled pulp; insist on virgin wood pulp in the contract and use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Service to ensure payment is only released upon quality verification.

Negotiate based on container-load volumes (20GP/40HQ) rather than roll count to reduce the unit price. Ask for tiered pricing; for example, a 10-15% discount for orders exceeding 500 cartons. Additionally, negotiate for free spare rolls (1-2%) to cover potential damage during transit.

Since neck paper is lightweight but occupies significant volume, Sea Freight (LCL or FCL) is the most economical choice. Avoid air freight unless it is an urgent sample. Work with a freight forwarder to optimize carton dimensions to minimize 'dead space' in the container, and always clarify Incoterms (FOB is recommended) to control shipping costs.

Always verify the supplier's Business License and Export License on the Made-in-China.com platform. Look for 'Audited Suppliers' who have undergone on-site factory inspections. Use Escrow-based payment methods and avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts to prevent fraud.
