Wholesale artificial plants manufacturers

To ensure a high-end look, prioritize PE (Polyethylene) or Silk materials over low-grade PVC. Look for 'Real Touch' technology which uses liquid polymer coatings to mimic the texture of live foliage. For outdoor use, ensure the materials are UV-rated (UV-inhibited) to prevent fading and brittleness within 6-12 months of sun exposure.

Buyers must verify that products are BPA-free and Lead-free, especially for indoor residential use. For commercial projects (hotels, offices), ensure the plants meet Fire Retardant standards such as UL94 or NFPA 701. Always request REACH or RoHS certifications to confirm the absence of hazardous chemicals in the dyes and plastics.

Artificial plants are often 'volumetric' goods. Choose suppliers that offer detachable branches or compressed packaging to reduce the CBM (Cubic Meter) of the shipment. For large trees, look for KD (Knock-Down) structures where the trunk and branches are packed separately, significantly lowering ocean freight costs.

Check the backing grid material; it should be a flexible, high-density plastic mesh that allows for easy interlocking. Confirm the leaf density per square meter to ensure no gaps are visible. For exterior walls, the UV resistance warranty should ideally be 3 to 5 years.

The primary risk is 'Color Variance' between production batches. Always request a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to ensure the green hues match your approved sample. Another risk is odor; low-quality plastics can emit strong VOCs. Ensure the supplier uses eco-friendly, odorless granules.

Focus on Tiered Pricing; artificial plants have high setup costs but low marginal costs, so discounts of 10-20% are common when moving from 500 to 2,000 units. Negotiate for customized packaging (OEM) with your brand logo, which adds significant retail value at a low cost.
