Uv led strip manufacturers

When evaluating UV LED strips, you must prioritize the wavelength (nm), as different applications require specific ranges: UVA (315-400nm) for curing and blacklight effects, UVB (280-315nm) for medical/tanning, and UVC (200-280nm) for sterilization. Additionally, check the radiant flux (mW) rather than just lumens, the LED density (LEDs/m) for uniform light distribution, and the PCB thickness (2oz or 3oz copper) to ensure proper heat dissipation and prevent voltage drop.

Ensure the supplier provides CE, RoHS, and FCC certifications for electrical safety and environmental compliance. For UVC germicidal strips, request third-party lab test reports (e.g., SGS or TUV) verifying the disinfection rate. It is critical to confirm the photobiological safety standard (EN 62471) to ensure the light output does not pose a risk to human skin or eyes during operation.

The lifespan is primarily determined by thermal management. Look for strips with high-quality thermal conductive adhesive tape (like 3M 300LSE) and recommend installation on aluminum profiles for heat sinking. Furthermore, check the IP rating: IP20 is sufficient for dry indoor use, while IP65 or IP67 (silicone tube or glue) is necessary for moisture-prone environments. High-quality chips from reputable brands like San'an or Epistar typically offer a longer L70 lifespan of 30,000 to 50,000 hours.

This is a common fraud in cross-border trade. UVC LEDs are significantly more expensive than UVA. To protect your investment, request a sample and use a UVC intensity meter or UVC sensitive test cards to verify the wavelength. On Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone on-site factory inspections to ensure their production capabilities match their claims.

Focus on the total cost of ownership. Negotiate based on volume tiers; for instance, a 500m order may reduce the price by 15-20% compared to a 50m order. Ask for OEM/ODM customization (such as custom wire lengths or specific wavelengths) to be included in the bulk price. Always clarify if the quoted price includes packaging and labeling to avoid hidden costs during shipping.

UV LED strips are sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD) and physical pressure. Ensure the supplier uses anti-static bags for individual reels and reinforced 5-layer corrugated boxes for outer packaging. For large orders, specify palletization to prevent crushing. If shipping from China, Air Freight is recommended for high-value UVC strips to reduce transit time and handling risks, while Sea Freight is more economical for high-volume UVA decorative projects.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until delivery is confirmed. Never wire full payments via unprotected channels for first-time orders. Implement a staged payment structure (e.g., 30% deposit, 70% balance after QC inspection) and consider hiring a third-party inspection service to verify the goods at the factory before the final balance is paid.
