Uchida hydraulic pump manufacturers

Buyers must prioritize displacement (cc/rev), maximum operating pressure (bar/PSI), and rated speed (RPM) to ensure system compatibility. It is critical to confirm the shaft type (splined or keyed) and mounting flange dimensions (SAE or ISO standards). For Rexroth-Uchida licensed models, verify the series number (e.g., A10V, A8V) to ensure internal components match your existing hydraulic circuit requirements.

Request material test reports for the cylinder block and valve plate, as these are high-wear components. Ensure the supplier provides a dynamic performance test report showing volumetric efficiency is above 90%. For aftermarket or replacement units, check if the manufacturer uses high-strength ductile iron for the casing and hardened steel for pistons to prevent premature failure under high-pressure cycles.

Suppliers should ideally hold ISO 9001:2015 for quality management. For pumps used in specific environments, look for CE marking (European safety) or ATEX certification if the pump will operate in explosive atmospheres. Ensure the product meets ISO 4406 standards for fluid cleanliness to prevent contamination during the initial startup phase.

Uchida pumps are widely used in heavy construction machinery (excavators, cranes) and industrial plastic injection molding. To maximize lifespan, buyers should implement a filtration system (10-25 microns) and perform oil analysis every 500-1,000 operating hours. Always ensure the case drain line is connected and filled with oil before the first start to prevent dry-run damage.

The primary risks include incompatibility of port threads (BSPP vs. NPT) and damage during transit due to the heavy weight of the units. To mitigate this, require seaworthy vacuum packaging and reinforced wooden crates. Additionally, beware of 'refurbished' units sold as new; always request clear photos of the nameplate and internal port finishes before shipping.

Focus on Tiered Pricing based on annual volume rather than a single order. Negotiate for extended warranty periods (18 months instead of 12) and ask for free wearing parts (seal kits, O-rings) to be included in the shipment. For large-scale procurement, request a factory video audit to verify their testing laboratory and CNC machining capabilities.

Due to the high weight-to-volume ratio, Sea Freight (LCL or FCL) is the most economical. Ensure the supplier provides a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) if the pump contains residual testing oil, as this can be flagged as hazardous. Use FOB (Free On Board) terms if you have a reliable forwarder, or DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) if you want the supplier to handle all customs and local taxes.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until delivery is confirmed. Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts. For high-value orders, hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or BV) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to verify that the technical specs match the Proforma Invoice.
