Swimming pool bed manufacturers

When sourcing swimming pool beds, prioritize UV-resistant polyethylene (PE) rattan or powder-coated aluminum frames to prevent rust and fading. For inflatable versions, ensure a minimum thickness of 0.3mm to 0.5mm PVC to resist punctures. If the bed uses fabric, look for Textilene or Sunbrella materials, which offer high breathability and quick-drying properties, essential for preventing mold and mildew in high-moisture environments.

For the US market, products must comply with ASTM F963 (for inflatable types) and CPSC guidelines regarding lead content and phthalates. For the EU, ensure the product meets EN 71 safety standards and REACH chemical regulations. If the pool bed is intended for commercial use (hotels/resorts), verify it meets ISO 4892-2 for accelerated weathering and EN 581 for outdoor furniture mechanical safety and stability.

A professional-grade pool bed should support a static load of at least 150kg to 200kg (330-440 lbs). Request load-bearing test reports from the supplier. For floating beds, check the buoyancy rating to ensure it can keep the specified weight afloat without submerging. Look for reinforced joints and anti-slip feet on solid loungers to ensure stability on wet poolside surfaces.

Most professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer OEM/ODM services. You can customize the Pantone color of the frame or fabric, add embroidered or silk-screened brand logos, and adjust dimensions. For high-end projects, you can request integrated features like adjustable backrests (5-position), built-in cup holders, or matching side tables to increase the total order value and brand appeal.

Always request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) by a third-party agency like SGS or Intertek. Specifically, ask for a salt spray test to check for corrosion resistance and a colorfastness test under UV exposure. Utilizing the Secured Trading Service on Made-in-China.com is highly recommended to ensure your payment is only released after you confirm the goods meet your quality specifications.

Pool beds are high-volume items. To optimize costs, choose knock-down (KD) packaging to maximize container utilization and reduce 'dead space.' For large orders, FCL (Full Container Load) is significantly more economical than LCL. Negotiate FOB (Free On Board) terms to maintain control over your freight forwarder and avoid hidden 'destination charges' often found in CIF terms.

Focus on the warranty period, which should be at least 2-3 years for frames and 1 year for fabrics. Ask for the supplier's Gold Member status and Audit Reports on Made-in-China.com to verify their factory scale and export history. Inquire about their spare parts policy, ensuring they can provide replacement caps, screws, or fabric slings for future maintenance needs.
