Silicone dildo manufacturers

Buyers must ensure the product is made of 100% Medical-Grade Silicone or Food-Grade Silicone. It is critical to verify that the material is BPA-free, phthalate-free, and non-porous to prevent bacterial growth. Request LFGB or FDA material safety data sheets (MSDS) from the supplier to confirm the silicone does not contain harmful fillers that could leach during use.

For vibrating models, focus on motor noise levels (ideally <50dB) and battery longevity. Ensure the device uses rechargeable lithium-ion batteries with magnetic charging interfaces to maintain a 100% waterproof rating (IPX7 or higher). The shore hardness (durometer) of the silicone should typically range between 10A to 30A to balance realistic feel with structural integrity.

Products must carry CE and RoHS certifications for electronic safety and environmental compliance. For the North American market, FCC certification is required for wireless or remote-controlled models. Additionally, ensure the supplier complies with REACH regulations for chemical safety to avoid customs seizures in the European Union.

Request samples to inspect for parting lines (seams); high-quality molds produce nearly seamless products. The surface should have a silky, PU-coated finish to reduce lint attraction. For multi-layered 'dual density' products, verify the bonding strength between the inner core and outer skin to ensure no delamination occurs after repeated cleaning.

To minimize logistics friction, use discreet packaging and accurate but professional HS codes, such as 901910 (Mechano-therapy appliances; massage apparatus). Avoid provocative imagery on outer cartons. Ensure the supplier provides a Commercial Invoice that matches the technical nature of the product to prevent delays during inspection.

Focus on MOQ flexibility for trial orders and OEM/ODM customization costs. Ask for tiered pricing based on volume (e.g., 500, 1000, and 5000 units). Negotiate for spare parts (1-2% extra units) or a 1-year replacement warranty for electronic components to offset the cost of potential defects in cross-border shipping.

Always utilize Secured Payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released upon confirmation of shipment. Conduct a factory audit or hire a third-party inspection service (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to verify that the bulk production matches the approved sample.

For products containing lithium batteries, use specialized air freight lines (DG cargo) that handle sensitive electronics to ensure safety and speed. For large bulk orders, Sea Freight (FCL/LCL) is most cost-effective, but ensure the use of desiccant packs in containers to prevent moisture damage to the silicone and internal circuitry during long transit times.
