Sensor tube lamp manufacturers

When evaluating Sensor Tube Lamps, prioritize Luminous Efficacy (lm/W), aiming for at least 100-130 lm/W to ensure energy efficiency. The Sensor Type is critical: PIR (Passive Infrared) sensors are best for line-of-sight detection in smaller rooms, while Microwave (Radar) sensors are superior for large warehouses or parking lots as they can detect motion through thin walls and covers. Additionally, check the Detection Angle (typically 120° to 360°) and Detection Range (6-10 meters) to ensure coverage matches your specific usage scenario.

For the US market, ensure the products are UL or ETL listed for safety and DLC (DesignLights Consortium) qualified for energy rebates. For the European market, CE (LVD/EMC) and RoHS certifications are mandatory to prove electrical safety and the absence of hazardous substances. If the lamps are intended for outdoor or humid environments, verify an IP Rating of at least IP65 to guarantee protection against dust and water ingress.

Request LM-80 test reports from the supplier, which document the lumen maintenance of the LED chips over time. A high-quality Sensor Tube Lamp should have a rated lifespan of ≥50,000 hours. Furthermore, the Driver Quality is the most common point of failure; insist on drivers with over-voltage and short-circuit protection, preferably from reputable brands or those with a Power Factor (PF) >0.9.

A capable supplier should offer Adjustable Delay Times (e.g., 30s to 5mins) and Standby Dimming Levels (e.g., 0%, 10%, or 20% brightness when no motion is detected). For large-scale projects, look for Color Temperature (CCT) adjustment (3000K to 6500K) and OEM branding services for the lamp housing and packaging.

Always utilize Secure Payment Services provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com, which offer escrow-like protection. Before placing a bulk order, conduct a Factory Audit or hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to verify that the goods match the approved samples.

Negotiate based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Ask for tiered pricing (e.g., 500, 1000, and 5000 units) to understand the supplier's margin. If you are a first-time buyer, request a Sample Consolidation where the supplier sends samples of different models in one shipment to reduce air freight costs.

LED tubes are fragile and prone to bending or cracking. Ensure the supplier uses Reinforced Packaging, such as thickened cardboard tubes or honeycomb crates, and clearly marks them as 'Fragile.' For shipping to the US or Europe, confirm the HS Code (typically 8539.52) to accurately calculate import duties and ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin to benefit from any applicable trade agreements.

Establish a clear Defective Rate Agreement in the contract; a standard industry rate is <1%. Ensure the supplier provides a 2-5 year warranty and agree on a compensation method, such as sending 1-2% extra units (FOC - Free of Charge) with the bulk shipment or providing credit for the next order upon receiving video evidence of failures.
