Puzzle picture frame manufacturers

For premium markets, prioritize solid wood frames (oak, pine, or walnut) over MDF to ensure structural integrity. The glazing should ideally be shatterproof acrylic (PMMA) rather than glass to reduce shipping breakage and ensure safety. Ensure the backing uses high-density moisture-proof board with rotatable metal clips for easy assembly and long-term durability.

Puzzle sizes vary significantly by brand (e.g., a 1000-piece puzzle can be 70x50cm or 75x50cm). You should request custom sizing services from suppliers. Ensure the inner diameter of the frame has a tolerance of +2mm to +5mm to account for the slight expansion of puzzles after gluing or mounting.

For the US market, wood products must comply with CARB Phase 2 or TSCA Title VI regarding formaldehyde emissions. For the EU, ensure materials meet REACH regulations and that any coatings are lead-free and non-toxic. If the product is marketed as eco-friendly, verify FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification for sustainable wood sourcing.

Look for frames that include a 'puzzle saver' kit (adhesive sheets or glue) as a value-add. Features like dual-direction hanging hardware (horizontal and vertical) and extra-deep frame rebates (to accommodate the thickness of the puzzle plus the backing) are critical for functionality.

Fragile items like frames require ISTA 3A standard drop-test packaging. Insist on reinforced corner protectors, EPE foam wrapping, and 5-layer corrugated outer cartons. For LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments, request palletization to prevent crushing by heavier cargo.

Start by requesting a sample order to verify the finish quality and fit. When negotiating bulk prices, use a tiered volume approach (e.g., 500, 1000, and 5000 units). Mention that you are looking for a long-term strategic partner to secure better credit terms or OEM branding (logo engraving) at lower costs.

Always use Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure your payment is held in escrow until shipping documents are verified. Never wire money to private bank accounts; ensure the beneficiary name matches the registered company name on the business license.

Hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or V-Trust) to perform a During Production (DUPRO) or Final Random Inspection (FRI). Focus on color consistency across batches, joint tightness, and scratch-free glazing. Only release the final 70% balance after receiving a passed inspection report.
