Printing whiteboard manufacturers

The surface is the most critical component. You should prioritize Porcelain (Ceramic) or Enameled Steel for high-frequency use due to its superior scratch resistance and ghosting prevention. For standard office use, Lacquered Steel is a cost-effective alternative. Regarding the printing technology, ensure the supplier uses UV Printing or Silk Screen Printing; UV printing is preferred for complex graphics as it offers high color accuracy and fade resistance under indoor lighting.

B2B buyers must verify that products comply with EN71-3 (Safety of Toys) to ensure the surface coating is non-toxic. For the frame and backing, look for ISO 9001 certification to guarantee manufacturing consistency. If the boards are intended for schools or offices, check for GREENGUARD Gold Certification, which ensures low chemical emissions for improved indoor air quality.

When ordering custom prints, you must provide high-resolution files (AI or CDR format). Confirm the printing resolution is at least 300 DPI to avoid blurred lines. Additionally, request a dry-erase test on the printed areas to ensure that the ink does not react with whiteboard markers, which could lead to permanent staining or 'ghosting' on the graphics.

For boards exceeding 120x240cm, the backing material must be moisture-proof, such as galvanized steel or high-density MDF, to prevent warping. The frame should be anodized aluminum with a thickness of at least 1.0mm to provide sufficient structural rigidity. Ensure the corners are protected with ABS plastic covers to prevent injury and enhance durability during transit.

Whiteboards are fragile and prone to bending or surface denting. You must insist on 5-layer corrugated export cartons with honeycomb board or EPE foam edge protectors. For LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments, it is mandatory to use wooden pallets or crates to prevent compression damage from other heavy cargo.

Start by requesting a pre-production sample to verify the erasability and print quality. When negotiating, focus on the Total Landed Cost, including specialized packaging fees. You can often secure a 5-10% discount by increasing the order to a full 20ft container, which also significantly reduces the per-unit shipping risk and cost compared to LCL.

Utilize Secured Trading Services on Made-in-China.com to protect your funds. Always hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Final Random Inspection (FRI) before the balance payment. The inspector should specifically check for surface flatness, printing alignment, and magnetic strength.

Check the HS Code (typically 961000) for your target country to determine import duties. Be aware of Anti-Dumping duties that some regions (like the EU or USA) may apply to aluminum frames or specific steel products from certain origins. Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin to help you benefit from any applicable Free Trade Agreements (FTA).
