Powder nitenpyram manufacturers

Nitenpyram is a high-efficacy neonicotinoid insecticide. For B2B procurement, the purity (assay) should typically be ≥98% for Technical Grade (TC). Key physical properties include a white to light yellow crystalline powder appearance and a melting point between 82°C and 85°C. Buyers must request a Certificate of Analysis (COA) to verify moisture content (usually <0.5%) and acidity levels to ensure chemical stability during storage.

As a chemical pesticide, Nitenpyram must comply with strict regulations. Suppliers should ideally hold ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management. Depending on the destination, you may need FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) standards compliance. For the U.S. market, EPA registration is essential, while the EU requires REACH registration. Always ensure the supplier provides a valid Safety Data Sheet (SDS/MSDS) compliant with GHS standards.

Nitenpyram is primarily used in agriculture and veterinary medicine. In agriculture, it targets sucking insects like aphids, thrips, and leafhoppers due to its excellent systemic and translaminar activity. In the veterinary sector, it is a fast-acting treatment for flea infestations in dogs and cats, starting to work within 30 minutes. Its main advantage is low toxicity to mammals and the absence of cross-resistance with organophosphates.

Nitenpyram is sensitive to light and moisture. It should be packed in fiber drums with double-layer anti-static plastic bags or aluminum foil bags for smaller quantities. Storage must be in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse, away from fire and heat sources. Ensure the packaging is hermetically sealed to prevent degradation, as the shelf life is generally 2 years under optimal conditions.

The primary risks include purity inconsistencies and customs seizures. To mitigate these, always order a pre-shipment sample for third-party lab testing (e.g., SGS or Pony Testing). Use secure payment terms like those offered on Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipment. Additionally, verify the supplier's Export License for Hazardous Chemicals to avoid delays at the border.

Focus on volume-based pricing tiers; typically, orders exceeding 500kg can yield a 10-15% discount. Negotiate for customized packaging/labeling (OEM) to meet local regulatory requirements at no extra cost. Ask for transparency in the raw material supply chain (e.g., 2-chloro-5-chloromethylpyridine) to anticipate price fluctuations in the final product.

Nitenpyram is often classified under UN 2588 (Pesticide, solid, toxic, n.o.s.) for transport. You must ensure the forwarder is experienced in Class 6.1 Dangerous Goods (DG) handling. Shipping to specific countries requires a Certificate of Origin (CO) to benefit from preferential tariffs. Always confirm the IMO/DGD (Dangerous Goods Declaration) is accurately filled to prevent heavy fines at international ports.

Prioritize Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com, as they undergo rigorous on-site inspections. Check the supplier's business scope to ensure they are a legitimate manufacturer rather than a small trading company. Request past export records or Bill of Lading (B/L) copies for shipments to your region to verify their experience with your local customs regulations.
