Natural vitamin e powder manufacturers

Natural Vitamin E (typically labeled as d-alpha-tocopherol) has significantly higher bioavailability than the synthetic version (dl-alpha-tocopherol). When sourcing, you must verify the optical rotation and specific activity (IU/g). Natural Vitamin E powder usually ranges from 500 IU/g to 700 IU/g depending on the carrier used (like silica or starch). Always request a Certificate of Analysis (COA) to confirm the 'd-' prefix, as 'dl-' indicates a synthetic origin.

Vitamin E is naturally an oil; the powder form is created through micro-encapsulation or spray-drying. For beverage applications, specify Cold Water Soluble (CWS) grades to ensure transparency and prevent 'ringing' in the bottle. For tablets or capsules, focus on flowability and bulk density. Ensure the product has an antioxidant coating to prevent potency loss due to oxidation during storage.

Suppliers must hold GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and ISO 22000/HACCP certifications. For the US market, FDA registration and GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) status are essential. If targeting specific consumer segments, verify Kosher, Halal, and Non-GMO Project Verified certifications, as Natural Vitamin E is often derived from soy or sunflower oil and may carry allergen concerns.

Most Natural Vitamin E is derived from Soybean oil or Sunflower oil. Sunflower-derived Vitamin E is often preferred for 'Soy-Free' labeling, which commands a 15-20% price premium. Ensure the supplier specifies the botanical source to avoid cross-contamination issues and to align with your brand's 'Clean Label' requirements.

Vitamin E powder is sensitive to heat and light. For cross-border shipping, insist on vacuum-sealed aluminum foil bags inside fiber drums. Request temperature-controlled shipping (reefer containers) if the transit route passes through tropical zones, and ensure the use of desiccants to prevent clumping caused by humidity.

Focus on tiered pricing based on IU (International Units) potency rather than just weight. Negotiate for re-testing windows; professional buyers usually stipulate that payment is finalized only after a third-party lab (like SGS or Eurofins) confirms the potency matches the COA. For long-term contracts, include a price-adjustment clause linked to the market price of raw vegetable oil distillates.

Utilize the Secured Trading services on Made-in-China.com to protect your funds until the goods are dispatched. Always verify if the supplier is an Audited Supplier on the platform, which confirms their manufacturing capabilities and physical existence. Avoid making full upfront payments to new vendors; a 30% deposit and 70% against the Bill of Lading (B/L) is the industry standard.

Ensure the HS Code (typically 293628) is correctly declared to avoid tariff penalties. You will need a Health Certificate, Phytosanitary Certificate (if applicable), and a detailed Packing List. For certain regions like the EU, ensure the supplier provides a Technical Master File (TMF) or equivalent documentation for REACH compliance.
