Magnetic lashes manufacturers

When sourcing magnetic lashes, the number and placement of magnets are critical. High-quality sets typically feature 5 to 10 micro-magnets per lash strip to ensure a seamless fit along the eyelid curvature. Ensure the magnets are ultra-thin (approx. 0.2mm) and lightweight to prevent eyelid drooping. From a safety perspective, verify that the magnets are securely embedded or glued with medical-grade adhesive to prevent them from detaching and entering the eye.

B2B buyers should prioritize synthetic silk or faux mink (PBT fiber) over natural hair to ensure consistency in curl retention and hygiene. PBT fibers are preferred for their tapered ends and high flexibility, which mimic natural lashes. Check for UV resistance to ensure the lashes do not lose their shape or color when exposed to sunlight, and confirm the fibers are 100% cruelty-free to meet modern consumer ethical standards.

Since magnetic lashes often come with magnetic eyeliner, they fall under cosmetic regulations. For the US market, ensure ingredients are FDA-compliant, specifically checking that Iron Oxides (the magnetic component in liners) are within safe limits. For the EU, products must comply with REACH and EC No. 1223/2009 regulations. Always request MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and CPSR (Cosmetic Product Safety Reports) from your supplier on Made-in-China.com to avoid customs seizures.

Premium magnetic lashes should be reusable up to 30-50 times with proper care. Conduct a 'pull test' to check the magnetic strength—the lash should stay in place during vigorous movement but be easily removable by hand. Additionally, perform a waterproof and smudge-proof test on the magnetic eyeliner, as the integrity of the bond depends heavily on the liner's formula. Request samples to verify that the lash band remains flexible and does not become brittle after multiple cleanings.

Magnets can interfere with airplane navigation systems. For air freight, you must ensure the supplier provides a Magnetic Inspection Report (DGM report). If the magnetic field strength exceeds certain limits, the goods may require specialized anti-magnetic packaging (shielding). Failure to declare magnetic items can lead to heavy fines or shipment rejection at the airport.

When negotiating on Made-in-China.com, focus on the MOQ for customized packaging versus the product itself. Many suppliers offer a low MOQ for the lashes (e.g., 50 pairs) but require 500+ for custom-printed boxes. Negotiate for 'logo gold stamping' on stock boxes for initial small batches to reduce upfront costs while maintaining brand identity. Always clarify mold fees if you are requesting a unique lash style.

To ensure transaction security, use Secured Trading services provided by Made-in-China.com. Never pay the full amount upfront; a standard 30% deposit and 70% balance after third-party inspection but before shipment is recommended. Given the hygienic nature of the product, include a quality claim clause in your contract that covers defects like 'magnet detachment' or 'asymmetrical lash lengths' discovered upon arrival.

Magnetic eyeliner is classified as a liquid/paste, which is restricted by many couriers. Ensure your supplier uses specialized chemical logistics channels and provides the necessary Non-Hazardous Liquid Declaration. Shipping liquids and solids (lashes) together can sometimes increase shipping costs; evaluate if sourcing the liner and lashes separately or using a specialized forwarder is more cost-effective for your specific country.
