Ludo dice factory manufacturers

When sourcing from a factory, prioritize Acrylic (PMMA) or Urea-Formaldehyde resin over cheap recycled plastics. Acrylic offers superior transparency and impact resistance, while Urea resin provides a heavy, professional feel similar to casino dice. Ensure the material is non-toxic and BPA-free, especially if the end-users are children.

A reputable factory should use high-precision injection molding to ensure a uniform density throughout the die. For professional-grade Ludo sets, request centered gravity testing. The pips (dots) should be etched or engraved rather than just surface-printed to prevent weight imbalance and ensure the longevity of the markings.

For the US market, products must comply with ASTM F963 and CPSIA regulations regarding lead and phthalate content. For the EU, EN71 (Parts 1, 2, and 3) certification is essential to ensure mechanical safety and chemical compliance. Always request valid test reports from accredited third-party labs like SGS or Intertek.

Look for factories capable of custom mold development for unique sizes (standard is 16mm) or shapes. Advanced suppliers offer multi-color silk-screen printing, heat transfer, or laser engraving for custom logos. Additionally, verify if they can provide customized packaging such as velvet pouches or tin boxes to increase the product's retail value.

Always implement a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). Hire a third-party inspector to perform an AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) sampling to check for bubbles, scratches, or uneven pips. Using Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services can provide an extra layer of protection, ensuring payment is only released upon successful quality verification.

Focus on tiered pricing based on volume; for orders exceeding 50,000 units, you should aim for a 15-20% discount compared to the standard MOQ price. Negotiate for free mold maintenance and ask for a 2-3% defect allowance where the supplier provides extra units to cover potential shipping damages.

Since dice are small but heavy, Sea Freight (LCL) is the most cost-effective for large volumes. However, for trial orders, Air Express is viable. Ensure the factory uses double-walled corrugated export cartons and moisture-proof inner lining to prevent damage during long-term maritime transit.

Verify the supplier's Business License and Export Qualification on the platform. Avoid direct transfers to private bank accounts; instead, use official corporate accounts or the escrow payment systems provided by Made-in-China.com to safeguard your capital against fraud.
