Lithium battery rechargeable bulb manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize Battery Capacity (mAh) and Luminous Efficacy (lm/W). A high-quality bulb typically features a 1200mAh to 2600mAh lithium battery, providing 3 to 6 hours of emergency backup. Ensure the LED chips are from reputable brands to guarantee a color rendering index (CRI) of >80 and a lifespan of at least 25,000 hours. Additionally, verify the charging time (usually 5-10 hours) and the presence of an intelligent identification circuit that distinguishes between a power outage and a manual switch-off.

Since these products contain lithium batteries, they must meet strict safety standards. For the US market, UL 1973 or UL 1642 for the battery cells and FCC for electromagnetic interference are required. For the EU, CE (LVD/EMC) and RoHS certifications are essential. Crucially, for shipping, the product must have a valid UN38.3 Test Report and a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) to comply with international dangerous goods transport regulations.

Perform a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis by comparing the cycle life of the lithium battery (ideally >500 cycles) against the unit price. Lower-cost bulbs often use lead-acid batteries or recycled lithium cells, which have poor energy density and shorter lifespans. Requesting a LM-80 report for the LEDs and a battery protection board (BMS) specification will ensure the product won't fail prematurely due to overcharging or deep discharge, reducing long-term replacement costs.

Lithium batteries are classified as Class 9 Dangerous Goods. The main risk is customs seizure or shipping rejection if documentation is incomplete. Always ensure your supplier provides a Certificate for Safe Transport of Goods and uses UN-rated packaging. For shipping to the US or Europe, consider Sea Freight (LCL/FCL) for bulk orders to reduce costs, but ensure the forwarder is experienced in handling battery-integrated electronics.

Negotiate a warranty period of at least 2 years. Use a staged payment structure (e.g., 30% deposit, 70% balance after third-party inspection) to mitigate risk. For large orders, insist on a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) focusing on battery capacity discharge tests and high-voltage insulation tests. You can find verified manufacturers with high audit scores on Made-in-China.com to ensure factory legitimacy.

Always conduct transactions through secure payment channels that offer buyer protection. Verify the supplier's Business License and Export License. Be wary of prices that are significantly lower than the market average, as this often indicates the use of substandard battery cells which pose a fire hazard. Utilize the Secured Trading Service on Made-in-China.com to protect your funds until the goods are confirmed to meet your specifications.
