Jilbab factory manufacturers

Selecting a Jilbab factory requires a focus on fabric quality, stitching precision, and production capacity. Prioritize factories that specialize in Islamic modest wear and hold ISO 9001 certification for quality management. Ensure the supplier can provide OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification to guarantee that the textiles are free from harmful substances, which is a critical selling point for international markets.

The most sought-after fabrics include Nida, Wool Peach, Crepe, and Medina Silk. For high-end markets, specify a fabric weight (GSM) that ensures opacity (non-see-through) while maintaining breathability. Request colorfastness test reports (Grade 4 or higher) to ensure the garments do not fade after multiple washes, especially for dark colors like black and navy.

Implement a 'Four-Point System' for fabric inspection and ensure a stitching density of 10-12 stitches per inch for durability. Pay close attention to the finishing of the face opening and cuffs, as these are high-wear areas. Demand a 100% final inspection policy where every garment is checked for loose threads, symmetrical cuts, and accurate sizing according to your provided size charts.

Different regions have varying requirements for length, width, and head-cover integration. For the Middle Eastern market, focus on extra-wide 'overhead' styles, while European markets may prefer two-piece sets with adjustable tie-backs. Ensure all labels comply with the destination country's textile labeling acts, including fiber content and care instructions in the local language.

The primary risks include material substitution (using cheaper polyester instead of premium Nida) and size inconsistencies. To mitigate this, always request a pre-production sample (PPS) and use a third-party inspection service like those offered through Made-in-China.com to verify the goods before the final balance payment is made.

Negotiate based on tiered pricing; for example, a 500-unit order should yield a 10-15% discount compared to a 100-unit order. If you are a startup, look for factories on Made-in-China.com that offer flexible MOQs (e.g., 50 pieces per color) to test market demand without overextending your capital.

Always use secure payment methods such as Escrow or Letter of Credit (L/C) for large volumes. Utilize the Secured Trading services on Made-in-China.com to ensure your funds are protected until the supplier provides proof of shipment and the quality meets your agreed-upon specifications.

For small trial orders, Air Express (DHL/FedEx) is fastest but costly. For bulk inventory, Sea Freight (LCL or FCL) is the most economical. Ensure the factory uses moisture-proof packaging and vacuum sealing to prevent mold or odors during long-distance maritime transit, especially when crossing different climate zones.
