Indoxacarb manufacturers

When purchasing Indoxacarb, the most critical factor is the purity level (Technical Grade), which typically ranges from 95% to 98% TC. For formulated products, you must specify the concentration, such as 150g/L SC (Suspension Concentrate) or 30% WDG (Water Dispersible Granules). Ensure the isomer ratio is correct, as the S-isomer is the active insecticidal component. Additionally, verify the moisture content (usually <0.5%) and pH stability to ensure a long shelf life and effective field performance.

As a hazardous chemical and pesticide, Indoxacarb must comply with strict international regulations. Suppliers should provide a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every batch. For cross-border trade, ensure the manufacturer has ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) certifications. Furthermore, the product must meet the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) specifications and be registered with the Ministry of Agriculture in the destination country to pass customs legally.

Indoxacarb is a high-efficiency oxadiazine insecticide primarily used to control Lepidopteran larvae (such as bollworms, beet armyworms, and diamondback moths) in crops like cotton, vegetables, and fruit trees. Its unique mechanism of action—blocking sodium channels in nerve cells—makes it effective against pests that have developed resistance to organophosphates or pyrethroids. It is favored for its low toxicity to non-target beneficial insects and its excellent rain-fastness, providing long-lasting protection even after precipitation.

To optimize costs, buyers should analyze the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), including the unit price, shipping of hazardous goods, and registration fees. Bulk purchasing (e.g., 1,000kg+ for TC or 5,000L+ for formulations) can typically reduce the price by 10-20%. It is also advisable to source from integrated manufacturers on Made-in-China.com who produce the intermediate (DPX-JW062), as this often results in more stable pricing and supply chains compared to secondary formulators.

Indoxacarb is classified as a Class 9 Hazardous Material (Environmentally Hazardous Substance) for transport. You must ensure the supplier uses UN-approved packaging to prevent leakage and provides a Dangerous Goods Declaration. Failure to declare chemicals correctly can lead to heavy fines, seizure of goods, or blacklisting by shipping lines. Always confirm that the freight forwarder is licensed to handle pesticide exports.

To mitigate risk, utilize Trade Assurance or Letter of Credit (L/C) payment terms to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipment. It is highly recommended to hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or BV) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). This inspection should verify the active ingredient content and packaging integrity before the container is sealed to avoid receiving sub-standard or diluted chemicals.

Focus negotiations on lead time stability and registration support. Since pesticide production is often subject to environmental protection shutdowns in China, secure a contract that includes a guaranteed delivery schedule. Additionally, ask the supplier to provide a Data Compensation agreement or a Letter of Authorization (LOA) to assist with your local pesticide registration, which is a high-value asset in the chemical trade.

Be aware of the Rotterdam Convention and specific import permits required by your country's environmental agency. Some regions have strict Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) for Indoxacarb on imported produce; ensure the product's purity and application instructions align with these local standards to prevent your end-users from facing legal issues during crop export.
