Exhibition trolley case manufacturers

When evaluating exhibition trolley cases, prioritize structural integrity and material durability. Look for shells made of High-Impact ABS or Polycarbonate (PC) for lightweight strength, or Aluminum-Magnesium alloy for maximum protection of sensitive equipment. Ensure the telescopic handle is made of thickened aluminum alloy with a multi-stage locking mechanism to withstand heavy loads. For mobility, 360-degree silent spinner wheels with reinforced axles are essential for navigating busy trade show floors.

Customization is key for B2B buyers. Verify if the supplier offers customizable EVA or EPE foam inserts (pick-and-pluck or CNC laser cut) to secure fragile items like monitors, prototypes, or delicate instruments. Check the internal load-bearing capacity, which should typically be at least 25-40kg for standard exhibition use. Additionally, confirm the availability of built-in cable management ports or power bank compartments if the case is used as a mobile workstation.

For international trade, ensure the products comply with REACH or RoHS standards regarding chemical substances in plastics and adhesives. If the case includes integrated locks, TSA-approved locks are mandatory for hassle-free international travel. For cases intended to carry electronics, check for IP67 waterproof and dustproof ratings to protect contents during transit. Suppliers on Made-in-China.com often provide SGS or Intertek inspection reports to verify these claims.

Calculate the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by factoring in the unit price, shipping volume (CBM), and import duties. Since trolley cases are bulky, look for nesting designs (where smaller cases fit inside larger ones) to significantly reduce ocean freight costs. Negotiate for a tiered pricing structure where a 500-unit order might yield a 15-20% discount compared to the sample price.

The primary risk is physical damage during transit due to improper stacking in containers. To mitigate this, mandate 5-layer corrugated export cartons and edge protectors. Another risk is quality inconsistency between the golden sample and the bulk production. Always use a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) service to verify wheel durability and zipper strength before the final payment is released.

Focus on long-term partnership value rather than just the lowest price. Request a spare parts kit (2-5% extra wheels and handles) to be included in the bulk order at no extra cost. For payment, suggest 30% deposit and 70% against the Bill of Lading (B/L) to maintain leverage. Always communicate through the platform's official channels to ensure a traceable audit trail for any disputes.

Due to the high volume-to-weight ratio, Sea Freight (LCL or FCL) is the most cost-effective method. Ensure the supplier provides an accurate Packing List and Commercial Invoice with the correct HS Code (typically 4202.12) to avoid customs delays. If you are shipping to the US or EU, clarify the Incoterms (e.g., FOB or DDP) to understand who is responsible for terminal handling charges and local delivery.
