Custom logo bulk hoodies manufacturers

For premium hoodies, prioritize 100% combed cotton or a heavyweight CVC (Chief Value Cotton) blend (typically 80% cotton/20% polyester) to ensure breathability and durability. Look for a fabric weight of 300-400 GSM (Grams per Square Meter) for a high-end feel. Ensure the supplier uses pre-shrunk fabric to prevent significant size changes after the first wash, and verify the fleece lining quality (brushed vs. unbrushed) based on your target climate.

The choice depends on your design and budget: Screen Printing is most cost-effective for large bulk orders with simple colors; Embroidery offers a premium, long-lasting 3D effect ideal for corporate branding; DTG (Direct-to-Garment) is best for complex, multi-color photographic designs; and Heat Transfer/Vinyl is suitable for small batches or individual numbering. Always request a digital mockup and a physical strike-off sample to verify color accuracy (Pantone matching) and placement.

Ensure the manufacturer complies with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, which guarantees the textiles are free from harmful substances. For the US market, products must meet CPSIA requirements (especially for children's hoodies regarding drawstrings and lead content). For the EU, ensure adherence to REACH regulations. Additionally, look for BSCI or Sedex audit reports to ensure ethical labor practices and social compliance in the factory.

Check for double-needle stitching on the neck, armholes, and waistband for reinforced durability. Inspect the ribbing on cuffs and hem to ensure it has high elasticity (usually containing Spandex) so it doesn't stretch out. Verify the zipper quality (e.g., YKK brand) if applicable, and ensure the hood is double-lined for a structured look rather than a single thin layer.

Always utilize Third-Party Inspection services (such as V-Trust or QIMA) to perform a During Production (DUPRO) or Final Random Inspection (FRI) before the balance payment is made. On platforms like Made-in-China.com, prioritize 'Audited Suppliers' who have been verified by independent bodies like SGS or TÜV Rheinland. Never skip the pre-production sample (PPS) stage, as this serves as the legal gold standard for your bulk order quality.

Negotiate based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Ask for tiered pricing (e.g., 500, 1000, 5000 units) to understand the supplier's margin. If your initial volume is low, offer to pay a slightly higher price for the first order in exchange for a lower MOQ, with a written agreement that the price will drop once you reach a specific annual volume. Mention you are sourcing via Made-in-China.com to signal you are a professional buyer comparing multiple quotes.

For bulk hoodies, Sea Freight (LCL or FCL) is the most economical, though Air Freight is faster for urgent launches. Clearly define Incoterms in your contract; FOB (Free On Board) is generally recommended as it gives you more control over shipping costs and logistics. Ensure your supplier provides a detailed Packing List, Commercial Invoice, and Certificate of Origin to avoid customs delays and potentially benefit from trade agreement duty reductions.

Use Secured Payment services provided by reputable B2B platforms like Made-in-China.com to protect your funds until shipping documents are uploaded. Avoid using high-risk methods like Western Union or direct transfers to private bank accounts. Stick to 30% deposit and 70% balance against the Bill of Lading (B/L) copy after a successful quality inspection report.
