Container restaurant manufacturers

When selecting a container restaurant, prioritize Corten Steel (weathering steel) for the main structure to ensure maximum corrosion resistance. Ensure the unit uses standard ISO shipping container dimensions (20ft or 40ft) for easier logistics. For multi-story designs, verify that the supplier provides structural calculation reports and uses reinforced corner castings to handle vertical loads safely.

To maintain a comfortable dining environment, specify Polyurethane (PU) sandwich panels or Rockwool insulation with a thickness of at least 50mm-100mm, depending on your local climate. Interior walls should use fire-rated gypsum board or stainless steel panels in kitchen areas for hygiene and compliance with HACCP standards. Flooring must be anti-slip and industrial-grade, such as checkered aluminum plate or heavy-duty PVC.

Request that all wiring, sockets, and circuit breakers comply with your target market's standards, such as UL (USA), CE (Europe), or SAA (Australia). The plumbing system must include a grease trap for kitchen waste and high-quality PEX or PPR piping. Ensure the supplier provides a detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawing before production begins.

A professional container restaurant must have a high-capacity exhaust hood system with integrated fire suppression. Ensure the layout optimizes the 'work triangle' (storage, prep, cooking) and includes integrated gas piping with external leak detectors. For mobile units, verify the inclusion of heavy-duty leveling jacks to stabilize the structure on uneven terrain.

The biggest risk is non-compliance with local building codes and zoning laws, which can lead to permit denials. Always consult your local planning department regarding foundation requirements and permanent vs. temporary structure classifications. Additionally, ensure the supplier uses marine-grade paint to prevent rust during sea transit, which can take 30-45 days.

Focus on Total Landed Cost rather than just the FOB price. Negotiate for extended structural warranties (typically 5-10 years) and request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) by a third party like SGS or Intertek. Ask for a detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure no low-quality components are substituted during mass production.

Since container restaurants are 'Oversized' if they have external attachments, it is best to ship them as Standard SOC (Shipper Owned Containers) to save on ocean freight. Ensure all internal equipment is securely bolted and braced to prevent damage from vessel vibration. Confirm that the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin to help you benefit from potential tariff preferences.

Use Secured Trading Services on Made-in-China.com to protect your payment. Follow a 30-40-30 payment structure: 30% deposit, 40% after the main structure is completed (verified by video/photos), and the final 30% after the third-party loading inspection but before the vessel departs.
