Cardboard tube making machine manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize the tube diameter range (typically 10mm to 500mm) and wall thickness capacity (ranging from 1mm to 15mm). Ensure the machine features a multi-knife cutting system (preferably CNC-controlled) for high precision and smooth edges. Look for inverter-controlled motors to ensure stable speed regulation and energy efficiency. Additionally, verify the number of plies the machine can handle, as this directly impacts the structural strength of the final product.

High-performance machines should offer a production speed of 10-20 meters per minute. Look for advanced automation features such as automatic paper tension control, automatic glue pumping systems, and PLC touch screen interfaces (e.g., Siemens or Delta) for easy operation. A servo-motor driven cutting carriage is essential for maintaining length accuracy within a ±0.5mm tolerance at high speeds.

The machine must carry a CE Certification to meet European safety standards, covering mechanical and electrical safety. For the North American market, ensure components meet UL or CSA standards. It is also vital to check for ISO 9001:2015 certification of the manufacturer to ensure consistent quality management. Safety features like emergency stop buttons, protective shielding, and overload protection are non-negotiable for industrial compliance.

These machines are widely used for producing mailing tubes, textile cores, paper can bodies, and industrial packaging. The equipment must be compatible with various grades of kraft paper and recycled paperboard. Ensure the gluing unit is designed for both sodium silicate (water glass) and white latex, depending on the required tube hardness and drying time.

Always utilize Trade Terms that include third-party inspection before final payment. It is highly recommended to source through reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com, leveraging their Secured Trading services to protect your funds. Conduct a factory audit or hire a third-party agency (like SGS or BV) to verify the supplier's manufacturing capability and the machine's actual performance against the spec sheet.

Due to the weight and precision of the components, the machine should be shipped in a Standard Container (20GP/40HQ) with vacuum packaging and anti-rust coating to prevent sea-salt corrosion. Negotiate for incoterms like CIF or DAP if you prefer the seller to handle logistics. Ensure the contract includes overseas installation support or detailed video technical guidance, and confirm the availability of wearing parts (knives, belts, sensors) for at least two years of operation.

Focus on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the sticker price. Negotiate for spare parts packages and extended warranties (ideally 18-24 months). For multiple units, aim for a 5-10% volume discount. Be wary of prices significantly below market average, as this often indicates the use of refurbished motors or lower-grade steel in the machine frame.
