Borehole video camera price manufacturers

The price is primarily driven by depth rating (cable length), camera resolution, and pressure resistance. For professional sourcing, ensure the camera supports 1080P HD resolution and has a waterproof rating of IP68 to withstand high-pressure environments (up to 20MPa or more). The cable material is also critical; polypropylene or reinforced tensile cables are more expensive but essential for deep-well durability.

Standard down-view cameras are the most economical. However, for comprehensive geological surveys or well casing inspections, 360-degree rotary (PTZ) cameras are preferred. These allow for dual-view switching (down and side) and motorized rotation, which increases the price but significantly reduces the risk of missing structural cracks or blockages.

Buyers must ensure the equipment meets CE and RoHS certifications for electronic safety. If the camera is used in mining or oil and gas environments, Explosion-proof certification (Ex-proof) is mandatory. Additionally, verify that the winch system complies with mechanical safety standards to prevent cable snapping during high-tension retrieval.

High-end borehole cameras are essential for hydrogeological logging, mineral exploration, and deep-well maintenance. If the application involves geothermal wells, the camera must be equipped with high-temperature resistance technology (up to 100°C or higher), which commands a premium price compared to standard water-well inspection tools.

The primary risks include damage during transit and technical incompatibility. Because these devices contain sensitive optics and long cables, ensure the supplier uses heavy-duty flight cases and vacuum-sealed packaging. Always confirm the voltage and plug standards (e.g., 110V vs 220V) match your local grid to avoid equipment burnout upon arrival.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for spare parts kits (such as extra O-rings, LED lights, and connectors) to be included in the initial price. For bulk orders, request a staggered payment plan (e.g., 30% deposit, 70% after third-party inspection) to ensure quality leverage.

Due to the weight of the cable winch and the sensitivity of the monitor, Air Freight or Express (DHL/FedEx) is recommended for single units to minimize handling time. For larger orders or systems with cables exceeding 500m, Sea Freight (LCL) is more economical, but you must insist on wooden crate packaging to prevent crushing.

Utilize Secured Trading Services on Made-in-China.com to protect your funds until delivery is confirmed. It is highly recommended to hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a functional test at the factory, specifically checking the waterproof seal and image clarity at maximum cable extension before the final balance is paid.
