Best billiards gloves manufacturers

Professional billiards gloves should primarily be composed of breathable Lycra or Spandex blends to ensure a snug, 'second-skin' fit. Look for moisture-wicking properties to prevent sweat from affecting the cue stroke. High-end models often feature reinforced stitching at the thumb and index finger junction and anti-slip palm pads (silicone or suede) to provide better stability on the table surface.

For textile products like gloves, ensure they comply with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 to guarantee they are free from harmful substances. If you are importing to the EU, verify REACH compliance. For the US market, ensure the materials do not violate California Proposition 65 regarding lead or phthalate content in synthetic rubbers or dyes.

Professional gloves typically utilize a three-finger open-tip design (thumb, index, and middle finger) to allow for better tactile feedback from the table. Look for adjustable Velcro wrist straps for a secure fit and integrated mesh panels for ventilation. The friction coefficient of the fabric must be ultra-low to ensure a smooth, consistent stroke regardless of humidity.

Customization (OEM) is highly feasible with MOQs typically ranging from 500 to 1,000 pieces. Silk-screen printing or heat-transfer printing for logos is cost-effective, adding only $0.10 - $0.30 per unit. For premium branding, consider embossed silicone logos, which offer better durability and a high-end feel for professional players.

Always request a pre-production sample (PPS) before the full run. For bulk orders, hire a third-party inspection service (like V-Trust or QIMA) to perform a During Production Check (DUPRO) or a Final Random Inspection (FRI). Focus on checking seam strength, sizing consistency, and fabric elasticity.

Focus on long-term partnership potential rather than just the first order price. Ask for tiered pricing (e.g., 1k, 5k, 10k units) to understand their scaling capacity. Negotiate for favorable payment terms, such as a 30% deposit and 70% balance after inspection but before shipment, to maintain leverage over quality.

Since billiards gloves are lightweight and low-volume, Air Express (DHL/FedEx/UPS) is ideal for small batches (under 100kg) due to speed. For larger commercial volumes, LCL (Less than Container Load) Sea Freight combined with 'Door-to-Door' (DDP) terms is the most economical way to manage customs duties and local delivery to your warehouse.
