Benomyl price manufacturers

When sourcing Benomyl, the primary indicator of quality is the Active Ingredient (AI) content, typically sold as a 50% WP (Wettable Powder) or 50% OD (Oil Dispersion). You must verify the suspension rate (minimum 80%) and wetting time (maximum 60 seconds) to ensure effective application. Additionally, check the particle size (fineness) through a 325-mesh sieve to prevent nozzle clogging in agricultural sprayers.

As a systemic fungicide, Benomyl must adhere to FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) specifications. Buyers should demand a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every batch and ensure the product complies with REACH regulations if exporting to the EU, or EPA registration for the US market. Ensure the supplier provides a valid MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for hazardous chemical handling.

The price varies significantly between Technical Grade (TC) and Formulated products (WP, DF, or SC). Wettable Powder (WP) is generally the most cost-effective for large-scale grain and fruit crop protection. However, Dry Flowables (DF), while more expensive, offer better safety for operators due to reduced dust inhalation and easier measuring, which may lower long-term labor and safety costs.

To optimize costs, buyers should monitor the price of raw materials like BCM (Carbendazim) and butyl isocyanate, which are precursors to Benomyl. Purchasing during the agricultural off-season (typically Q4) can result in 10-15% savings. Furthermore, sourcing from Made-in-China.com allows for direct factory pricing, bypassing middleman markups which often add 20% to the unit cost.

The most significant risk is regulatory bans or restrictions, as Benomyl is restricted in certain jurisdictions due to environmental concerns. Always verify the import permit requirements in your destination country. Another risk is chemical degradation during transit; ensure the supplier uses UN-approved moisture-proof packaging (e.g., fluorinated bottles or multi-layer bags) to maintain stability.

Focus on volume-based pricing tiers; for example, ordering a full 20ft container (FCL) can reduce freight costs per unit by up to 40% compared to LCL. Negotiate for OEM packaging (custom branding) to be included in the price for orders exceeding 5 tons. Request a 30% deposit and 70% balance against the Bill of Lading (B/L) to protect your cash flow.

Always conduct transactions through secure payment channels and prioritize suppliers on Made-in-China.com who have undergone Audited Supplier verification. Request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) by a third party like SGS or Intertek to verify the purity and weight of the Benomyl before it leaves the factory.

Benomyl is classified under IMO Class 9 (Environmentally Hazardous Substance) for sea freight. It must be shipped with a Dangerous Goods (DG) Declaration. Ensure the shipping agent is experienced in handling agrochemicals and that the containers are stored away from heat sources and food items to prevent cross-contamination.
