Aeroplane shuttlecock manufacturers

When sourcing Aeroplane shuttlecocks, the most critical factor is the feather quality. Look for Grade A goose feathers for international tournament standards or premium duck feathers for club play. The cork head should be made of natural sandwich cork to ensure consistent bounce and flight trajectory. Additionally, verify the weight (typically 4.74g to 5.50g) and the flight speed (76, 77, 78, or 79), which must be selected based on the altitude and temperature of your target market's location.

Durability is determined by the brittleness of the feathers and the strength of the glue/thread used in the skirt. Request a flight stability test report or a video showing the shuttlecock's rotation speed and landing accuracy. A high-quality shuttlecock should maintain its shape and flight path even after multiple high-impact smashes. For B2B buyers, it is recommended to ask for samples to conduct a 'hit test' to ensure the feathers do not snap prematurely.

For professional use, check if the product meets BWF (Badminton World Federation) approval standards. For general import, ensure the supplier provides ISO 9001 certification for quality management. If you are importing to the EU or US, verify that the adhesives and dyes used in the shuttlecocks comply with REACH or CPSIA regulations regarding non-toxic chemical content.

Shuttlecocks are highly sensitive to humidity and temperature. To prevent the feathers from becoming dry and brittle, they should be stored in a cool, humid environment (relative humidity of 40-60%). B2B buyers should ensure the supplier uses moisture-proof aluminum foil lining inside the tubes and double-walled corrugated cartons for shipping to prevent crushing during transit.

Aeroplane is a highly recognized brand, making it a target for counterfeiting. Always source from verified gold suppliers on Made-in-China.com who can provide brand authorization letters. Check for anti-counterfeit labels on the tubes and verify the batch numbers directly with the manufacturer. Avoid deals that are significantly below market price, as these often indicate sub-standard materials or fakes.

Focus on volume-based pricing tiers. Since shuttlecocks are consumables, emphasize your annual procurement volume rather than a single order to secure a 10-15% discount. Negotiate for customized tube packaging (OEM) if you have a private label, but ensure the MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) is balanced against your storage capacity. Always clarify the Incoterms (e.g., FOB or CIF) to avoid hidden logistics costs.

Utilize secure payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure your funds are protected until the goods are shipped. For large orders, implement a staged payment plan: 30% deposit and 70% balance payment after a third-party pre-shipment inspection (PSI). This ensures the quality of the specific batch matches the approved samples before the goods leave the factory.

Shuttlecocks are lightweight but bulky (high volumetric weight). To optimize costs, use sea freight for large volumes and ensure the containers are not placed near heat sources. For urgent replenishment, air freight is viable but requires sturdy outer packaging to prevent the tubes from being deformed, which would ruin the feather alignment and render the shuttlecocks useless for professional play.
