I have found results from1000+products and300+suppliers about900w fog machine
When sourcing a 900w fog machine, prioritize the heating element quality and output volume. A high-quality 900w unit should offer an output of approximately 5,000 to 10,000 cubic feet per minute (CFM). Ensure the warm-up time is between 3 to 5 minutes, and check for a high-capacity fluid tank (at least 1 liter) to reduce refill frequency during events. Additionally, verify if the unit features Electronic Temperature Control (ETC) to prevent the heater from overheating or clogging.
For electronic stage equipment, CE (LVD and EMC) and RoHS certifications are essential for the European market to ensure electrical safety and environmental compliance. For the North American market, UL or ETL listing is highly recommended. Furthermore, ensure the manufacturer provides a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for the fog fluid to facilitate smooth customs clearance and ensure user safety.
Look for a robust metal housing rather than plastic to ensure better heat dissipation and physical protection. The internal pump should be a high-pressure electromagnetic pump, which is more reliable for consistent fog density. Request a 100% burn-in test report from the supplier, confirming the unit has been tested continuously for at least 4 hours before packaging.
Professional B2B buyers should look for units that support DMX512 integration for synchronized light shows. At a minimum, the machine should include a wired remote control and a wireless RF remote. Advanced models may offer timer functions to automate fog bursts at specific intervals, which is a significant selling point for venue installations.
The primary risk is liquid leakage or pump failure during transit. To mitigate this, ensure the supplier uses reinforced export-standard packaging with molded foam. Another risk is voltage mismatch; always specify the required voltage (110V for US/Japan or 220V for EU/UK) and plug type during the negotiation phase to avoid unusable inventory.
Focus on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Ask for tiered pricing (e.g., discounts for 50, 100, or 500 units) and negotiate for spare parts (like extra nozzles or fuses) to be included at no extra cost. Requesting a Gold Member supplier on Made-in-China.com ensures you are dealing with audited manufacturers who are more likely to accept Trade Assurance for payment security.
Fog machines are relatively heavy due to their metal casing and transformers. For small batches, Air Express is fast but expensive; for bulk orders, Sea Freight (LCL or FCL) is more economical. Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate for Safe Transport of Goods if the machine is shipped with any residual testing fluid, as some carriers classify liquids as sensitive cargo.
Utilize the Secured Trading Service on Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until delivery is confirmed. For large orders, hire a third-party inspection service (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). This ensures the 900w power rating is genuine and the fog output meets the agreed-upon specifications before the final balance is paid.
