4090 gpu manufacturers

When sourcing the RTX 4090, you must prioritize 24GB GDDR6X VRAM and a 384-bit memory interface to ensure it handles heavy AI workloads or 8K rendering. Verify the CUDA core count (16,384) and the TDP (Thermal Design Power) of 450W, which necessitates a high-quality 850W+ Gold-rated Power Supply Unit (PSU). For server integration, check if the card is a blower-style fan design (better for multi-GPU stacks) or a triple-fan open-air design (better for single workstations).

The RTX 4090 is notoriously large, often occupying 3.5 to 4 PCIe slots. You must confirm the exact dimensions (length and thickness) to ensure compatibility with your chassis. For high-density computing, inquire about liquid-cooled AIO versions or water block compatibility. Ensure the supplier provides the 12VHPWR (16-pin) power connector and check for reinforced PCB designs to prevent GPU sag, which can damage the PCIe slot over time.

Ensure the products carry CE (Europe), FCC (USA), and RoHS (Environmental) certifications. Specifically for the RTX 4090, you must be aware of Export Control Classifications (ECCN 4A994). Due to international trade restrictions, ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin and confirms that the specific model (e.g., RTX 4090 vs. RTX 4090 D) complies with the Total Processing Performance (TPP) limits set for your specific region.

High-demand electronics like the 4090 are prone to 'bait and switch' tactics. Always request the GPU-Z validation screenshots and serial number photos before shipping. Use third-party inspection services (like those offered on Made-in-China.com) to verify that the original factory seals are intact and that the hardware IDs match the advertised specifications.

GPU prices fluctuate based on semiconductor supply and crypto-mining trends. Lock in pricing with a formal Proforma Invoice (PI) that has a validity period of at least 72 hours. For bulk orders, negotiate a staggered payment (e.g., 30% deposit, 70% against BL) rather than 100% upfront. Always ask for the batch production date to ensure you aren't receiving old stock from a poorly ventilated warehouse.

The RTX 4090 is a high-value, fragile item. Insist on double-walled corrugated box packaging with anti-static shielding. For international freight, purchase full cargo insurance covering the replacement value, not just weight. Specify Air Freight (DAP/DDP) for urgent needs to minimize handling time, and ensure the pallet is shrink-wrapped and strapped to prevent pilferage during transit.

Most GPU warranties are regional. Clarify if the supplier offers a Global Warranty or if they provide RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) support where they cover the return shipping costs. For B2B buyers, it is often more economical to negotiate a 1-2% spare parts allowance (buffer stock) in lieu of returning individual faulty units to China.
