Wholesale dihydromyricetin manufacturers

Buyers must prioritize purity levels, typically ranging from 98% to 99% for high-end supplements. Ensure the product is extracted from Ampelopsis grossedentata (Vine Tea). Key indicators include HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) test reports to confirm active ingredient concentration and Heavy Metal Analysis (Lead <0.5ppm, Arsenic <0.5ppm) to meet international safety standards.

For the US market, ensure the supplier follows cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and provides a COA (Certificate of Analysis) for every batch. If intended for dietary supplements, verify FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) compliance. For the EU, check for Novel Food status and ensure the product meets REACH and EFSA guidelines regarding botanical extracts.

DHM has low water solubility, which is a critical factor for beverage formulations. If you are developing 'anti-hangover' drinks, you must source micronized DHM or water-soluble DHM complexes (often utilizing cyclodextrin encapsulation). For traditional capsules or tablets, standard 98% crystalline powder is sufficient, provided the particle size (mesh count) is consistent for encapsulation efficiency.

Dihydromyricetin is sensitive to light, heat, and moisture. It should be stored in cool, dry conditions (below 25°C) in double-layered food-grade plastic bags inside fiber drums. Ensure the supplier uses vacuum sealing or oxygen absorbers for long-term storage to maintain a shelf life of 24 months.

Always request a pre-shipment sample (PSS) that is representative of the actual bulk lot. Use third-party inspection services (like SGS or Intertek) to conduct random sampling at the factory before final payment. On platforms like Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone comprehensive on-site verification of their production facilities.

DHM prices fluctuate based on the Vine Tea harvest season. Negotiate tiered pricing based on annual volume rather than single orders. For new buyers, request a lower trial MOQ (e.g., 1kg - 5kg) to validate market fit before committing to 25kg standard drum quantities. Ask for FOB (Free On Board) pricing to maintain better control over your logistics costs and insurance.

Utilize Secured Payment services provided by reputable B2B platforms to ensure funds are only released upon confirmation of shipping documents (Bill of Lading). Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts. Ensure the Proforma Invoice (PI) clearly states the purity percentage, botanical source, and lead time to provide legal recourse in case of disputes.

DHM is generally classified as non-hazardous for transport, but you must ensure the supplier provides a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a Non-Hazardous Chemical Declaration to avoid customs delays. For urgent needs, Air Freight is preferred to minimize exposure to humidity, while Sea Freight is more economical for volumes exceeding 500kg.
