Used toilet paper machine manufacturers

When sourcing a used toilet paper machine, you must prioritize the production capacity (tons per day) and the effective paper width. Check the mechanical speed versus the actual operating speed to ensure efficiency. Key components like the Yankee dryer cylinder should be inspected for surface integrity and pressure certifications. Additionally, verify the drive system type (AC frequency conversion is preferred for energy saving) and the automation level of the rewinding and cutting sections.

Request a video of the machine in operation or a third-party inspection report. Focus on the condition of the bearings, gears, and felt runs. It is critical to ask for the original year of manufacture and the maintenance logs. A machine from a reputable brand that has been refurbished with new PLC systems or pneumatic components will offer a significantly longer service life and better ROI.

Ensure the equipment meets CE marking requirements for the European market or OSHA standards for the US. Since it is used equipment, you must verify if the pressure vessels (dryer cylinders) have valid safety inspection certificates. Furthermore, check if the machine complies with local voltage and frequency standards (e.g., 380V/50Hz vs 460V/60Hz) to avoid costly electrical retrofitting upon arrival.

Buyers must prepare a reinforced concrete foundation capable of handling the static and dynamic loads of the machine. You will need a stable steam supply (boiler), a compressed air system, and a water treatment facility for fiber recovery. Ensure the factory layout allows for adequate clearance for jumbo roll handling and finished product packaging lines.

The biggest risks include hidden mechanical defects and missing technical documentation. Unlike new machines, used equipment may have worn-out proprietary parts that are difficult to source. To mitigate this, always use Made-in-China.com's secured payment services and insist on a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) by a professional agency like SGS or BV to verify the machine's condition against the contract.

Negotiate for professional dismantling and marking. Every component and wire should be labeled and documented with photos to facilitate reassembly. Ensure the contract specifies that the supplier is responsible for seaworthy packaging, including anti-rust coating and vacuum plastic wrapping for precision parts, and that the machine is securely braced inside the container to prevent shifting during transit.

Check your country's import regulations for 'Used Machinery', as some nations require a Pre-Shipment Inspection Certificate (PSIC). Use CIF or DAP Incoterms if you want the supplier to handle more logistics, but FOB is often better for experienced buyers to control freight costs. Ensure the HS Code (typically 843920) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays or unexpected tariffs.

Prioritize Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com who have a history of exporting heavy industrial equipment. Since warranties on used goods are limited, negotiate a retention payment (5-10%) to be released only after successful installation and trial run. Ask the supplier if they can provide online technical support for installation or send an engineer to your site for commissioning.
