Popsicle ice cream production line manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize production capacity (units per hour), ranging from small-scale manual systems (500-1,000 pcs/h) to fully automated industrial lines (10,000+ pcs/h). Key components must include food-grade Stainless Steel 304 or 316 for all contact surfaces to ensure hygiene. Additionally, evaluate the cooling method (brine tank vs. tunnel freezing) and the compressor brand (e.g., Bitzer or Copeland) as these directly impact freezing efficiency and energy consumption.

It is mandatory to verify that the equipment carries CE certification for the European market or meets FDA/UL standards for the US. Ensure the supplier provides HACCP-compliant designs, featuring easy-to-clean 'CIP' (Clean-In-Place) systems. Request documentation for refrigerant types (e.g., R404A or R448A) to ensure they align with your local environmental regulations regarding GWP (Global Warming Potential).

Look for lines equipped with PLC touch-screen control systems (such as Siemens or Delta) for precise temperature and speed management. Essential automated modules include automatic stick insertion, multi-color filling heads, and integrated flow-wrapping machines. High-end models also offer automatic de-molding and chocolate coating stations, which significantly reduce manual handling and contamination risks.

Buyers must ensure their facility has industrial-grade power supply (typically 3-phase 380V/50Hz or 440V/60Hz) and a stable water cooling system or cooling tower. The floor must be acid and alkali resistant with proper drainage. Consider the spatial footprint; automated lines require significant linear space for the conveyor and packaging sections, often needing a minimum of 50-100 square meters for the machinery alone.

Always mandate a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) via video link or a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) before final payment. Ensure the contract includes a 12-24 month warranty on core components. For secure transactions, utilize Made-in-China.com's secured payment services to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipment and compliance with agreed specifications.

Focus on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the sticker price. Negotiate for spare parts packages (valves, seals, heating elements) to be included for the first two years of operation. Request customized voltage and plug configurations at no extra cost, and clarify if the price includes on-site installation and staff training by the supplier's engineers.

Due to the size and sensitivity of the equipment, require vacuum-sealed plastic wrapping and seaworthy reinforced wooden crate packaging to prevent corrosion from sea air. Use FR (Flat Rack) or OT (Open Top) containers for oversized components. Ensure the supplier provides a detailed loading list and installation manual in your native language to avoid delays during customs clearance and setup.
