Ni-mh aa1800mah manufacturers

When sourcing Ni-MH AA 1800mAh batteries, you must prioritize nominal voltage (1.2V) and actual discharge capacity. Ensure the supplier provides cycle life data, typically aiming for 500 to 1,000 charge-discharge cycles. Additionally, verify the internal resistance (mΩ); lower resistance indicates better efficiency and less heat generation during high-drain use.

To ensure legal entry and safety, products must comply with IEC 62133 (safety requirements for portable sealed secondary cells). For the US market, UL 2054 certification is preferred, while the EU requires CE marking and RoHS/REACH compliance to ensure the absence of hazardous substances like cadmium or mercury. Always request a UN38.3 Test Report for transportation safety.

Request a discharge curve report at different C-rates (e.g., 0.2C and 1C) to see how the battery performs under load. High-quality Ni-MH batteries should feature Low Self-Discharge (LSD) technology, allowing them to retain 75-80% of their charge after one year of storage. It is highly recommended to use Made-in-China.com's inspection services to verify batch consistency before shipment.

The 1800mAh capacity is ideal for mid-drain devices such as digital cameras, cordless phones, solar garden lights, and wireless mice. Ensure the physical dimensions strictly adhere to standard AA sizing (14.5mm x 50.5mm) to avoid fitment issues in tight battery compartments. For solar applications, confirm the battery's high-temperature charging efficiency.

Batteries are classified as Dangerous Goods (DG). While Ni-MH is safer than Lithium, they still require proper MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) documentation. Failure to provide a Certificate for Safe Transport of Chemical Goods can lead to customs seizures or airline rejection. Ensure your freight forwarder is experienced in Class 9 hazardous materials handling.

Utilize Secured Trading Services on Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until the goods are verified. Negotiate a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment after a successful Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). Clearly define the defective rate threshold (e.g., <0.5%) in the contract, with specific clauses for replacement or refund of faulty cells.

For large volumes, Sea Freight (LCL/FCL) is the most economical choice due to the high weight-to-value ratio of batteries. If using air freight, ensure the batteries are packed in inner boxes with insulated terminals to prevent short circuits, following IATA packing instructions. Always clarify the Incoterms (e.g., FOB or DDP) to understand who bears the risk during the transit of sensitive electronic components.
