Mineral water bottle manufacturers

The most common material is PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) due to its transparency, lightweight nature, and recyclability. For premium or reusable options, consider BPA-free Tritan or Borosilicate Glass. Ensure the material is Food Grade and complies with FDA or EU 10/2011 regulations to prevent chemical leaching into the water.

Focus on Gram Weight, as a higher weight usually indicates better pressure resistance and durability. Check the Neck Finish (e.g., 28mm or 30/25) to ensure compatibility with standard capping machines. For carbonated mineral water, the bottle must feature a Petaloid Base to withstand internal pressure without bursting.

Suppliers must provide SGS or Intertek test reports. Key certifications include ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 22000/HACCP for food safety. If exporting to the US, CBP and FDA registration are essential; for the EU, ensure compliance with REACH and the Single-Use Plastics (SUP) Directive regarding tethered caps.

Request a Vacuum Leak Test report from the supplier. High-quality bottles should utilize a Tamper-Evident Band and a precision-engineered thread design. For bulk orders, verify the Torque Strength required to open the cap to ensure a balance between sealing integrity and consumer ease of use.

The biggest risks are Deformation during transit due to heat or stacking pressure and Contamination if the factory environment is not a Dust-Free Workshop. Always use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Services to mitigate financial risks and ensure the supplier is a Verified Manufacturer.

Mineral water bottles are 'light cargo' that occupy significant space. To maximize cost-efficiency, consider Sourcing Preforms (semi-finished bottles) and blowing them locally, or ensure the supplier uses High-Cube (40HQ) Containers with optimized pallet loading. Negotiate FOB terms to maintain better control over freight costs.

Focus on Volume-Based Pricing; discounts of 10-20% are common for orders exceeding 100,000 units. Discuss Mold Ownership if you require a custom design—ensure the contract specifies that the buyer owns the mold after a certain production volume. Request Free Samples but offer to cover the express shipping fee to show genuine intent.

Utilize Third-Party Inspections (PSI) before the final payment is released. Specify the AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) in your purchase agreement, focusing on defects like 'black spots,' 'cloudiness,' or 'uneven wall thickness.' Conduct all communications and payments through Made-in-China.com to benefit from their buyer protection protocols.
