Kids quad bike manufacturers

For children aged 3-6, prioritize 6V or 12V electric motors with a maximum speed of 3-5 km/h. For older children (6-12 years), 24V electric motors or 50cc-110cc gas engines are more suitable. Ensure the bike features high-torque gearboxes for climbing small inclines and all-terrain rubber tires (or high-density EVA for toddlers) to provide adequate traction and shock absorption.

Products must strictly adhere to regional safety regulations. For the US market, compliance with ASTM F963-17 (Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Toy Safety) and CPSIA (lead and phthalate limits) is mandatory. For the EU market, the product must carry the CE Mark and comply with EN71 (Safety of Toys) and EN62115 for electric versions. Always request a Children’s Product Certificate (CPC) from the supplier.

Look for models equipped with a parental remote control override (for electric models) and a speed limiter/governor to restrict maximum velocity. Essential hardware includes disc brakes for reliable stopping power, enclosed footwells to prevent contact with moving parts, and a kill switch (tether) that shuts off the engine if the rider falls.

Verify the battery capacity (Ah) and chemistry; Lead-acid batteries are cost-effective but heavy, while Lithium-ion batteries offer longer run times and faster charging. Ensure the supplier uses UL-certified chargers to prevent fire hazards. A quality 12V quad should provide at least 40-60 minutes of continuous play per full charge.

The biggest risks are battery safety failures and non-compliance with local toy safety laws, which can lead to customs seizures or expensive recalls. To mitigate this, use Made-in-China.com’s Secured Trading services and insist on a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) to verify that the speed limiters and braking systems function according to the agreed specifications.

Since quad bikes experience high wear and tear, negotiate for a 1-2% free spare parts kit (including controllers, fuses, and tires) to be included in bulk orders. Confirm the supplier's warranty period (typically 6-12 months for the motor/frame) and ensure they can provide technical assembly videos or manuals in your local language for your end customers.

Kids Quad Bikes are high-volume goods. Shipping via LCL (Less than Container Load) is expensive due to the volume-to-weight ratio; therefore, FCL (Full Container Load) is highly recommended to reduce the per-unit shipping cost. Ensure the supplier uses 7-layer corrugated export cartons with internal steel frame reinforcement to prevent crushing during long-haul sea transit.

Prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone on-site verification by third-party institutions like SGS or Bureau Veritas. Check their Business License to ensure their scope includes 'Toy Manufacturing' or 'Vehicle Production,' and review their export history to your specific target country to ensure they understand your local customs requirements.
