72 bus for sale manufacturers

When sourcing a high-capacity bus, you must prioritize the Engine Performance (typically 200-300 HP) and Emission Standards (Euro IV, V, or VI) to ensure local environmental compliance. The Chassis Strength is critical for a 72-seat load; look for reinforced steel frames and air suspension systems to ensure passenger comfort and vehicle longevity. Additionally, verify the braking system, prioritizing ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and Retarders for safety in mountainous or high-traffic areas.

Buyers should verify that the manufacturer holds ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO/TS 16949 for automotive supply chains. For specific regions, ensure the vehicle has WVTA (Whole Vehicle Type Approval) for the EU, DOT/FMVSS for the US, or GCC certification for the Middle East. Always request Roll-over Test Reports (ECE R66) to confirm structural integrity in the event of an accident.

Suppliers on Made-in-China.com often offer customization for Seating Configurations (2+2 or 2+3 layouts), Air Conditioning Capacity (essential for tropical climates), and Entertainment Systems (LCD screens, WiFi). For school buses, ensure the inclusion of stop arms, flashing lights, and specialized safety flooring. You can also request Right-Hand Drive (RHD) or Left-Hand Drive (LHD) versions depending on your country's traffic laws.

A well-maintained 72-passenger bus should have a service life of 10 to 15 years or approximately 500,000 to 800,000 kilometers. Maintenance should follow a strict protocol: oil and filter changes every 10,000-15,000 km, and comprehensive braking and tire inspections every 30,000 km. Ensure the supplier provides a detailed English-language maintenance manual and a spare parts list.

The biggest risks include Technical Mismatch (vehicle not meeting local road standards) and Shipping Damage. To mitigate this, use Third-Party Inspection services (like SGS or Intertek) to conduct a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). Ensure the transaction is protected by Trade Terms that clearly define liability, and consider using Escrow-based payment methods to release funds only after bill of lading verification.

While the MOQ for buses is often 1 unit, significant discounts of 5-10% can be negotiated for orders of 5 units or more. Focus your negotiation on After-Sales Support and Spare Parts Packages (e.g., requesting a 2-year supply of filters and belts included in the price). On Made-in-China.com, look for 'Diamond Members' or 'Audited Suppliers' as they are more likely to offer stable pricing and reliable warranties.

Buses are typically shipped via RORO (Roll-on/Roll-off) vessels, which is the safest and most common method for drivable machinery. If RORO is unavailable, Breakbulk shipping is the alternative. Ensure the supplier applies an Anti-corrosion Wax Coating to the vehicle exterior before shipping to protect it from sea salt spray and oxidation during the voyage.

You will need a Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, and a Certificate of Origin. Crucially, for vehicles, you must have the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) report and a Certificate of Conformity (CoC). Check if your country requires a Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC) certificate before the vessel leaves the Chinese port.
